During the winter months, members approved to operate the Automated Clay Target Thrower can shoot singles if they wish to do so regardless of weather conditions.
Members interested in Trap shooting with others; On Saturdays or Sundays (weather permitting - see comment below) Chris Lally and / or Mike Roberts may be at the shotgun range to operate the automated trap machine. A posting will be made on the club’s facebook page noting if someone will be at the range.
Automatic Clay Target Thrower is available for Use after completion of operation course by Members
During the week of May 30, to June 3 the new Clay target thrower was in installed in the trap house; the automatic clay target thrower on the shotgun range is available for use and the new lock combination to the trap house will be provided upon completion of an operational course with respect to using the new machine.
The new combination for the lock will be provided to members upon the completion of the operational course with regard to the new trap thrower.

Before using the Automated Target Launcher, members should be familiar with the proper operational procedures to ensure the safety of all users/shooters of the equipment. One must treat a clay target launcher with the same caution that one would treat a loaded gun.
Assume at all times that a clay target launcher is armed and loaded and treat it accordingly.
It is recommended that the above noted reference materials be reviewed before attempting to operate the Clay Target Launcher.

The shotgun range is available for use.
The Trap machine in the trap house is functional and can be used from the 16 yard thru to 27 yard shooting stations.
Please ensure that the posted operational rules are followed when using the range and automatic trap thrower. Please ensure the power to the house is turned on after the trap machine power switch has been turned on.
Two new manual sporting clay throwers have been installed and relocated on the field at the 27 yard line. Five shooting stations have been set up at the 27 yard line of the trap field. For safety purposes the throwers were set up at the 27 yard line and shooting should be completed at the 27 yard when using the manual throwers.
As reminder, please pay for the clay targets when club procured/supplied targets are used. The Trap target fee envelopes in the sign-in shed are to be used for the related payment.
